STORY
Hasef is one of the last surviving clergy members in Altross, and the co-leader of a resistance group that opposes the erid crusades being taken out by the Dukechter Empire. Giving spiritual guidance to all species in need of their revered God Iezel, Hasef has fought tooth and nail alongside his clergy to keep the country’s historical cathedral standing on its last remaining legs. It has become a point of sanctuary for erids and humans to seek, and a brimming target for Lord Dukechter’s latest sweep of killings. His and the others' loyalty to Iezel has only exacerbated Silver Sea’s contempt of the erids worshiping the same God, forcing Hasef to fight back despite his promise to never hurt anyone ever again.
PERSONALITY
Although his frightening appearance and intimidating posture makes those who approach him hesitant to reach out for guidance, Hasef has shown that he is the exact opposite of everything they assume. He is quiet, soft spoken, and careful with his words, yet will never be a stranger to anyone who comes to the cathedral for advice. His only ask of God is for Him to put an end to the murder and prosecution of erids, knowing deep down in his soul that everyone was created with a purpose. His past is unknown, and his existence, with little personal recollection of it, is an even bigger mystery. All that can be recounted before being welcomed into the cathedral are memories of darkness, pain, and violence. Seeking virtue and atonement for any past actions, Hasef promised eternal loyalty to Iezel and was eventually appointed as a deacon by Lafayette.
