STORY
Logan was born into the family of the Dukechters, the most powerful ruling human empire in control of the Four Lands. He is the son and only child of the Head General Sumir, and next in line to command the empire's army and carry the legacy of a long line of erid crusaders. Despite his whole life already laid out for him, Logan has little to no interest in ruling alongside his cousin Anya. Instead, his curiosity for the outside world beyond the island has turned him into a dreamer with a burning need to discover what everyone else has been kept in the dark about. His insistent belief that the erids pose no inherent harm threatens to create a rift between him and his family, and his doubt in the life he’s allegedly been destined for by God since birth might put him in far more trouble than he realizes.
PERSONALITY
Overwhelmed with familial expectations that feel impossible to attain, Logan has tuned out much of what he’s being taught, instead opting to allocate his brainpower in the library on his lonesome. When he’s not reading adventure and action novels, he’s exploring the shorelines near the castle, contemplating all the harrowing duties that are soon to come. Even being the optimist that he is, he knows full and well what his family would do should they discover his interest in erids. Logan doesn’t seem to be as convinced of their apparent demonic nature the way his cousin Anya is, and the constant slew of propaganda he’s being trained to believe only seems to pique his curiosity in them even more.
