STORY
David "Lupus" Mäkel has managed to take the Westside by storm in just a few short years as one of the most influential musicians of Mortari. Multi-talented with his lulling vocals and lively guitar/piano performances, Lupus has captivated mass success and a dedicated following. Unexpectedly achieving his dreams so early on, Lupus’ life has been stuck in the same, seemingly never ending state of mundane. On the outside, life would appear to be perfect with nothing to complain about. Inside lies years of unresolved trauma and contempt that are slowly boiling over. In an arguably fitting state of affairs, the mysterious ability to dispel fire from his bare hands was sprung onto him during childhood, an extreme rarity for a mutator to have. The anti-aptitude law and future proposed law banning erid citizens from his home country has put even more strain on him, fearing the day he’ll be pushed too far and set the world aflame.
PERSONALITY
Lupus’ ranking as a titan of the music industry would give off the impression to many that the fame he’s amassed has him in over his head. Behind closed doors, Lupus wants nothing more than to live a life free from stress and residual pain from his past. His resilience and refusal to back down in the face of a threat makes him protective of his brothers and those close to him. His incredibly friendly and naturally charming personality puts him on good terms with everyone he interacts with. Although he’s trained to near perfection to maintain his carefully crafted image, minor outbursts still slip through the cracks when pushed far enough. He’ll rarely let his impulsive nature see the light of day, instead swallowing his feelings into the deepest recesses of his mind in fear of disappointment and backlash, especially from those he cares for most.
