Hi, I’m Pepshay Lacey! Let’s be friends!

I’m an alien from the ████████, which is located far, faaaar outside the Milky Way. I’m a core conductor of the ███-████████████ ███████ Faction, where securing the safety of the human race from any possible threats posed by rival factions, outsider threats and even the ████████ itself is our highest priority. You can call me Pepshay or Pep for short. You can call me Shay too, and maybe even Shaypep if you really wanna change it up!

After an incredibly long and complicated journey through ████████ ██ █████████ and ██████ ███ ████████, the peace has finally been restored once more, and the galaxy can rest easy knowing it’s in good hands. Seriously, what a clusterfu- I mean, mess! Am I glad that’s over with.

I suppose I should list a few noteworthy things about myself:

I've been around for about 110 Earth years. My creation day anniversary is just around the corner! I suppose I could call it my birthday, but that sounds a little too weird considering I didn't go through that specific process of conceivement. I did get to name myself Pepshay, though!

My purpose for being here was (well, I guess it still technically is) to record as much data as possible on the dynamics of human interaction. The specific reason is far more complicated and not worth giving a long and boring explanation for. And as of recent, no longer applicable!

Because of this, I've got a pretty substantial advantage from a social standpoint compared to my peers. If anything they say comes off as frigid or emotionally lacking, it's not personal- it's a lack of programming. They are making an effort to understand, though! ...I think!

You can imagine what it must be like to teach aliens
how to socialize like humans. It's a challenge. You
ever have your grandma come up and show you something
on her phone? Like a meme you've seen a countless
number of times, but to her it's like a completely
different language? But instead of shrugging her
shoulders, she makes you feel like you should die
from cringe for even knowing about it? Hey, don't
say I didn't make any effort to teach them about
human culture. Oh well. More memes for me!

The extraordinary team that helped restore the universe!

I get asked this a lot, so before anyone else can ask: yes, this is indeed my true form. I can't gurantee for certain, but my guess is that the ████████ thought it'd be a good idea to make me look as non-threatening as possible, even though I'd be disguised as a human for 90% of my life. Compared to some of the other ████████ members true forms, I got lucky.

...ANYWAYS. When you’ve been on Earth for as long as I have, it’s really hard to list off all the things I love about it! But if I had to make a list, I’d say my most favorite and least favorite things are…

♥ fireworks, video games, singing, festivals, hiking, marathoning,
people, fried food, crazy patterns, space age pop, rom-coms

✗ dull colors, dark rooms, being overbearing, arguing,
████ █████████, loneliness, ignoring others,
animals (don't hate 'em, don't understand 'em either!)

Explain yourself, Alien! Do you want to experiment on us and steal our cows? Destroy our beautiful planet as we know it?? WHAT DO YOU WANT!?!?!

Hell no! I mean, definitely no to the cows part. Those freak me out.
I live among everyone else, blending in with the billions of humans roaming this planet. I’ve practically mastered hiding in plain sight. It’s actually pretty easy once you realize everyone unanimously keeps to themselves. I’ve come to accept that a lot of people- okay, pretty much everyone wouldn't want to be pestered by a complete stranger trying to drum up a sporadic conversation, probably wasting their precious time. But here’s the thing, even though I’ve been here for as long as I have and interacted with thousands of people, I still feel like I’ve hardly scratched the surface! Now that I’m not restricted by the ████████, I intend to make as much positive impact as I can so long as I’m here.

And this time, I won’t let anyone interfere.

It's just like Saul Goodman said...

The world is a rich tapestry, my friends.

Okay, that’s all well and good… but what have you been up to now?

Well, I do a lot of eating and reading and
walking and talking... I'm sad to report
that I don't live a very exciting life.
Not anymore. I meant it when I said I'm
hiding in plain sight. If you'd rather read
about some actually exciting stuff, I'm sure
my team would be happy to share stories of
their non-classified adventures. Kunie had
a lot to say about a universe where there's
a major conflict happening between humans
and something called... erids.

the reviews are in:

Yeah yeah yeah, I know this isn't iMDB or letterboxd, but... but... just let me talk about this movie, okay?!

My friends love it, I love it, if alternate versions of myself existed I bet they would love it as much too.

Maybe I love it so much because it reminds me of why I chose to come back to this universe. There's always something to love, to fight for, to stick around for.

The rocks scene resonated with me the most. It felt like I was being stabbed in my metaphorical heart. It was almost too much to fully process by the end of it, and coming from me, that's saying A LOT. It sounds weird to say, but it was kind of a traumatic experience. I guess it'd make more sense in context, but that's a story for another time...

"When I choose to see the good side of things, I'm not being naive. It is strategic and necessary. It's how I've learned to survive through everything."
